dipsomaniac Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) bypassed my matrix about 5 years ago. might get around to taking the dash out one day. if it wasn't for heated screen and seats i would struggle in winter. not surprised you struggled to find someone to do it as i think it is a nightmare job to do first time. i was quoted £500 from an indie garage five years ago. Davek Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Can anyone advise, stripped out dash and at the point where I can access the matrix on my Mk2. Manual says to remove wiring loom and crash bar but looks like there is a flange with a screw top and bottom that would seperate the the matrix from the tubes going into the engine bay. Is this easier tahn stripping the rest of the car to bits. Regards Dave Quote
